Duplicating and deleting blocks

Manage blocks efficiently with duplicate and delete actions.

Hover over any block and click the three-dot menu icon (⋯) in the top-right corner of the block. This opens a menu with:

Duplicate — Creates an exact copy of the block directly below it, including all settings, options, and styling
Delete — Removes the block permanently (this cannot be undone)
Move to page... — (One Per Page forms only) Move the block to a different page

Keyboard shortcuts

Duplicating is faster than creating a new block when you need similar questions (e.g. multiple rating questions with the same scale)
When you duplicate a Multiple Choice block, all options are copied too
Deleted blocks and their responses cannot be recovered — be careful!

Each block can have its own visual styling independent of the form style.

: There's no hard cap, but very long forms (50+ blocks) load more slowly for respondents. For long surveys, consider switching to One Per Page so each question loads incrementally.

Open the Logic tab in the builder to write rules like "if the rating is less than 5, show the follow-up question" — show or hide questions, jump between pages, or end the form early based on answers. Rules re-evaluate live as respondents answer, and a built-in health check warns about conflicts or questions that can never appear.
: File Upload is a Pro feature, but during beta it's unlocked for everyone. After beta, you'll need a Pro plan to add a File Upload block.
